Tripoli: Libya Telecom and Technology Company has announced that its systems and network have been subjected to distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks since last Tuesday, confirming that the attacks are still ongoing.
In a statement, the company said it immediately activated its emergency response protocol upon detecting the attacks. The measures helped contain most of the impact and ensured the continuity of essential services for subscribers and users.
The company added that its emergency plan remains in place around the clock, with continuous monitoring of network traffic to address any new attack attempts. These actions are aimed at maintaining service stability, quality, and security despite the ongoing cyber threat.
