Sama X, a newly launched venture and authorised global reseller of SpaceX’s Starlink, has received licensing from Jordan’s Telecommunications Regulatory Commission (TRC) to deliver Starlink satellite internet services nationwide. The initiative aims to simplify access to high-speed, reliable connectivity for individuals, enterprises, and public-sector organisations, including communities in Jordan’s remote northern and southern regions.
Founded earlier this year, Sama X is focused on next-generation connectivity solutions using low-Earth-orbit (LEO) satellite technology to provide dependable primary or backup internet services. The offering is expected to support a broad range of use cases, from NGOs operating in camps to digital government platforms in rural areas, as well as schools, logistics operations, and healthcare facilities in underserved communities.
By combining Starlink’s advanced LEO satellite constellation—capable of delivering fiber-like speeds without dependence on terrestrial networks—with local expertise, Sama X provides turnkey deployment, rapid installation, and round-the-clock bilingual customer support.
Backed by Alghanim Industries, one of the Middle East’s largest privately owned conglomerates, Sama X is positioned to deliver complex technology solutions at scale. The company says its rollout aligns with Jordan’s Economic Modernisation Vision, supporting nationwide digital inclusion and enabling businesses and communities to operate more efficiently through reliable high-speed connectivity.
