The Libyan Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology Holding Company (LPTIC) has announced the appointment of Ali bin Gharbia as its new board chairman following a formal handover ceremony held in Tripoli. The transition was carried out in line with approved legal and regulatory procedures.
According to a statement published on LPTIC’s official Facebook page, outgoing chairman Youssef Abu Zuwida officially transferred responsibilities to his successor to ensure an orderly leadership transition and preserve institutional stability. The company said the process reflects its commitment to good governance and continuity.
LPTIC added that the leadership change forms part of broader efforts to reinforce ongoing operations, support the company’s strategic objectives, and contribute to the development of Libya’s telecommunications sector in the public interest.
