ODP and Zain partner for cybersecurity in Oman – and beyond

Oman Data Park (ODP) has entered into a strategic partnership with ZainTECH, the integrated digital solutions arm of Zain Group, to strengthen cybersecurity services across Oman and selected regional markets.

The collaboration combines ODP’s in-country cloud infrastructure and deep understanding of national regulatory and data residency requirements with ZainTECH’s regional cybersecurity expertise and integrated digital portfolio.

Together, the two organizations aim to support government and enterprise customers in protecting critical data, systems, and digital operations as cyber threats grow in scale and sophistication.

The joint offering will span advisory, implementation, and managed services, including managed security operations, identity and access management, cloud security, continuous monitoring, incident readiness, and resilience services.

By pairing locally hosted infrastructure with regional delivery capabilities, the partnership is designed to ensure regulatory compliance while accelerating deployment and operational value for customers.

Localization is central to the strategy. Eng. Aladdin Baitfadhil, Chairman of Oman Data Park, said cybersecurity is a foundational pillar of digital trust and national digital transformation. He noted that the partnership reinforces ODP’s commitment to delivering secure, compliant, and locally hosted services that meet evolving cybersecurity requirements while supporting sustainable digital growth.

Beyond service delivery, the alliance will also drive joint innovation initiatives, knowledge-sharing programs, and specialized training to strengthen cybersecurity capabilities and develop local talent.

ODP and ZainTECH are positioning the partnership as a long-term platform for building cyber resilience across Oman’s public and private sectors, while extending trusted security services to regional markets.
