e& enterprise, the digital transformation arm of global technology group e&, has announced a strategic collaboration with UAE-based gas system solutions provider Sergas to modernise and secure energy operations.
Formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding, the partnership focuses on smarter systems, stronger cybersecurity, and improved customer experiences. At its core is a suite of integrated digital capabilities designed to enhance Sergas’ operational efficiency, resilience, and engagement across its services.
As part of the collaboration, HELP AG, an e& enterprise company, will deliver a GenNext Security Operations Centre (SOC) for Sergas. The SOC will strengthen cybersecurity with advanced threat detection and rapid incident response, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery, higher operational reliability, and stronger protection of customer data.
Sergas will also adopt the EngageX A2P Communications Platform, consolidating SMS, email, and WhatsApp into a single intelligent messaging hub. This enables automated service notifications, targeted alerts, and personalised communication at scale. Customers will receive timely updates on billing, maintenance, service requests, and safety advisories through their preferred channels.
An AI-driven contact centre platform will further transform customer interactions, introducing smarter self-service tools, omnichannel support, and enhanced workforce management. Customers will benefit from faster issue resolution, shorter wait times, 24/7 support, and more consistent service quality across phone, chat, and digital channels.
Majd Coussa, Acting Chief Revenue Officer at e& enterprise, said the collaboration equips Sergas with digital capabilities that strengthen every part of its operation, from cybersecurity and secure payments to AI-driven customer engagement. “It’s about giving them the tools to innovate faster, respond smarter, and deliver greater value to their customers,” he said.
Sergas Group CEO Mohamed Damak highlighted the role of the UAE’s supportive investment climate and regulatory framework in accelerating transformation. He said the partnership represents a key step in deploying AI-powered solutions that optimise operations and reduce emissions, helping shape a smarter and cleaner energy sector.
The agreement reflects a broader shift across the energy industry, as companies increasingly adopt digital platforms to enhance performance, reliability, and customer experience through advanced security and data intelligence.
