Zoho Corporation opens its first data centres in UAE

DUBAI | Tue, 13 Jan 2026

Zoho Corporation has officially launched its first data centres in the UAE, marking a major milestone in its regional expansion. Located in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the facilities are part of the AED100 million investment the company announced in 2023, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the UAE market.

The new data centres will host solutions from Zoho Corporation’s two flagship brands: ManageEngine, focused on enterprise IT management, and Zoho, which provides cloud-based business applications. Together, they support more than 100 solutions spanning customer experience, finance, collaboration, low-code development, and IT operations.

Shailesh Davey, Co-founder and CEO of Zoho Corporation, said the launch reflects the UAE’s importance as one of the company’s largest regional markets. He noted that local hosting enables businesses to store data within the country, strengthening data sovereignty and aligning with the UAE’s National Cybersecurity Agenda.

“With this move, we are empowering organisations of all sizes, as well as government and semi-government entities, to adopt cloud technologies across nearly every area of operation,” Davey said, adding that the initiative supports Dubai’s ambition to become a global digital economy hub under Vision 2030.

The launch event was attended by senior leaders including Rajesh Ganesan, CEO of ManageEngine, and Hyther Nizam, President of Zoho for the Middle East and Africa.

Zoho’s data centres have received the CSP Security Standard Certificate from Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC), qualifying the company to serve government and semi-government entities. The facilities are compliant with ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 27017, and CSA STAR Level 2 standards, while Zoho’s Dubai office has also achieved ISO 27001 certification.

Zoho recorded 38.7 percent growth in the UAE during 2025 and expanded its partner network by 29 percent. Employee headcount in the country rose by 35 percent, supported by a move to a larger office. Globally, Zoho and its portfolio of brands now employ more than 18,000 people.

Key drivers of Zoho’s growth include its Customer Experience platforms, Zoho Books, Creator low-code tools, Zoho Workplace, and Zoho One, which bundles more than 55 products. Over the past five years, Zoho has invested AED80 million in supporting more than 7,000 businesses through partnerships with entities such as Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism and Dubai Culture.

The company has also seen strong upmarket momentum, with enterprise growth reaching 48 percent in 2025, driven by platform depth, faster deployment cycles, and lower total cost of ownership.

ManageEngine recorded 20 percent growth in the UAE in 2025, led by increased enterprise adoption. Growth has been strongest in BFSI, government, public sector, and manufacturing, with cloud-based solutions expanding at nearly 35 percent annually. Core products such as Endpoint Central, ServiceDesk Plus, and Site24x7 continue to anchor this momentum as organisations shift toward cloud-first strategies focused on scalability and agility.
