e& enterprise, the digital transformation arm of global technology group e&, has announced a strategic collaboration with UAE-based gas system solutions provider Sergas to modernise and secure energy operations.
The memorandum of understanding signals a shared push toward smarter systems, stronger cybersecurity, and improved customer experience, powered by integrated digital capabilities designed to elevate Sergas’ operational efficiency, resilience, and engagement.
At the core of the collaboration is a comprehensive technology stack spanning cybersecurity, communications, and customer service.
HELP AG, an e& enterprise company, will deliver a GenNext Security Operations Centre (SOC) to strengthen Sergas’ cybersecurity posture. The SOC will provide advanced threat detection and rapid incident response, ensuring uninterrupted service delivery, higher operational reliability, and stronger protection of customer data.
Sergas will also deploy the EngageX A2P Communications Platform, consolidating SMS, email, and WhatsApp into a single intelligent messaging hub. This will enable automated service notifications, targeted alerts, and personalised communications at scale. Customers will receive timely updates on billing, maintenance, service requests, and safety advisories through their preferred channels.
An AI-driven contact centre platform will introduce smarter self-service tools, omnichannel support, and enhanced workforce management. Customers will benefit from faster issue resolution, shorter wait times, 24/7 support, and more consistent service quality across phone, chat, and digital touchpoints.
Majd Coussa, Acting Chief Revenue Officer at e& enterprise, said the collaboration equips Sergas with a powerful set of digital capabilities spanning secure payments, cybersecurity, customer engagement, and AI-driven service delivery. He said the partnership is about enabling faster innovation, smarter response, and greater customer value.
Sergas Group CEO Mohamed Damak said the partnership reflects the UAE’s rapid digital transformation, driven by a supportive investment climate and advanced regulatory framework. He noted that AI-powered solutions will optimise operations, reduce emissions, and help shape a smarter, cleaner future for the energy sector.
The collaboration underscores how energy companies are embedding cybersecurity and data intelligence into their core operations to improve performance, enhance reliability, and elevate customer experience.
