Network International, a leading fintech provider across the Middle East and Africa, has signed a strategic processing agreement with Saudi Sudanese Bank, one of Sudan’s prominent financial institutions.
Under the partnership, Network International will deliver a full suite of end-to-end digital payment processing services to Saudi Sudanese Bank. This includes Mastercard sponsorship, prepaid card issuing, and a range of value-added services designed to accelerate the bank’s digital transformation agenda.
Network said Saudi Sudanese Bank has already laid a strong foundation for cross-border economic activity. Building on this base, the collaboration will introduce advanced fintech capabilities aimed at modernising Sudan’s financial ecosystem, improving trade settlement efficiency, and opening new channels for investment.
The agreement also supports Saudi Sudanese Bank’s broader mission to upgrade its digital capabilities, enhance customer experience, and contribute to the long-term development of Sudan’s banking sector.
Osama Ali Ibrahim, CEO of Saudi Sudanese Bank, said the partnership marks a significant milestone in the bank’s modernisation journey. He noted that Network International’s experience and comprehensive digital payments platform will enable the launch of faster, safer, and more accessible financial products.
“This agreement empowers us to build a more inclusive, digitally enabled banking environment that supports Sudan’s long-term economic development,” Ibrahim said.
The collaboration was formalised during Cairo ICT 2025 in mid-November. Network International described the deal as a key milestone in its expansion strategy in Sudan.
