Mercedes-Benz Oman: Redefining luxury experience through trust and technology

Muscat — Mercedes-Benz Oman has been named Oman’s Most Trusted Brand in the Luxury Automotive category for the ninth consecutive year, reinforcing its long-standing leadership and deep-rooted customer confidence in the market.

In an interview with Muscat Daily, Shaun Michael, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Oman, said trust today is built through consistent delivery rather than brand heritage alone. “Customers now judge how a brand behaves across every interaction, before, during, and long after purchase. Trust is no longer declared; it is demonstrated,” he said.

Michael noted that Omani customers value transparency, accountability, and dependable after-sales support. The brand’s approach focuses on long-term ownership, supported by proactive service, expert diagnostics, factory-trained technicians, and systems that anticipate customer needs.

Over the past year, Mercedes-Benz Oman recorded steady demand across its core sedans and SUVs, alongside rising interest in technology-driven models. Customers are increasingly informed and engaged, prioritising features, safety, and long-term value over price alone.

Luxury preferences in Oman are evolving toward a holistic experience that blends design, technology, sustainability, and after-sales reliability. In response, Mercedes-Benz has expanded its focus on intelligent features, advanced driver assistance systems, and connected technologies, while strengthening service capabilities across the network.

Technologies such as the latest MBUX system, AI-enabled driver assistance, adaptive cruise control, and intelligent emergency braking have resonated strongly. New-generation electric models further integrate predictive AI for energy management and navigation, making vehicles more intuitive and efficient.

Electric mobility is gaining traction in Oman, driven by growing awareness and alignment with Vision 2040. While adoption remains early, interest is rising among customers seeking innovation and environmental responsibility. Michael said EVs will play an increasingly important role in the portfolio over the coming years.

For EVs to scale meaningfully, continued expansion of charging infrastructure, clear policy frameworks, and customer education are essential. Addressing range expectations, charging behaviour, and total cost of ownership will be key to accelerating adoption.

Sustainability at Mercedes-Benz Oman extends beyond products to operations, partnerships, and customer engagement. The company is embedding responsible practices across facilities, logistics, and service delivery, while guiding customers through electrification with education and transparency.

As competition intensifies, Michael said the brand’s priority remains consistency, people, and alignment with Oman’s long-term vision. “By staying close to our customers and evolving with their needs, we aim to continue earning the trust that has defined Mercedes-Benz Oman for nearly a decade.”
