Oman Arab Bank Launches “Tumouhi” Platform to Support SME Growth

Oman Arab Bank has unveiled Tumouhi, a comprehensive support platform designed to empower small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) through an integrated ecosystem of financial and non-financial services. The initiative delivers a seamless experience for business owners by combining core banking with telecom solutions, legal support, delivery and courier services, accounting tools, and cybersecurity measures.

Beyond operational services, Tumouhi places strong emphasis on capability-building through workshops and training programmes. These cover entrepreneurship, financial literacy, governance and compliance, business continuity during challenging periods, and effective communication—equipping SME owners with the skills required for long-term sustainability.

The banking component includes a suite of incentives such as waived online banking fees, a free business chequebook, a complimentary Advantage Debit Card, and a 20% discount on the bank’s tariff of charges. SMEs also benefit from competitive rates on automotive loans and point-of-sale (POS) machines, alongside employee loan facilities linked to immediate enterprise registration.

To extend value, Oman Arab Bank has secured strategic partnerships with leading service providers, offering discounts of up to 50% on professional services. These include accounting and financial consulting by Talal Abu-Ghazaleh and Co., IT and telecommunications consulting, management and restructuring advisory, and ERP and audit services.

Additional partnerships bring professional training through the Arab Omani Training Institute, cybersecurity services via Tatweer Cyber Security, and a wide range of legal services from established law firms. Legal partners provide consultations, company formation and restructuring support, contract drafting, mergers advisory, dispute resolution, and regulatory guidance across Oman and other jurisdictions.

SME development is further strengthened through collaboration with the Oman Academy for SMEs, which offers significant discounts on business nurturing services, events, and training programmes.

Through Tumouhi, Oman Arab Bank aims to foster SME resilience, innovation, and growth by reducing operational barriers and expanding access to expertise, financial tools, and strategic support—reinforcing the bank’s role in advancing entrepreneurship and economic development in Oman.
