Ai Everything MEA Egypt 2026 will be held in Cairo on February 11–12, bringing together technology firms, government bodies, and enterprises from more than 60 countries to examine how AI is being deployed across digital infrastructure, with a strong focus on cybersecurity.
Organised under the GITEX GLOBAL umbrella in partnership with Egypt’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and ITIDA, the event will explore how AI is being integrated into enterprise systems and national digital frameworks to improve data protection, network monitoring, and threat detection.
As more government and economic activity shifts online, AI is increasingly used to scan large datasets, identify unusual patterns, and flag potential security risks in real time. Many of these tools operate in the background of existing digital systems, enabling faster detection and response compared to manual monitoring.
In financial services, AI-powered systems are widely used to monitor transactions, detect fraud, and ensure compliance with data protection and financial crime regulations. AI also supports identity verification, access control, and the detection of suspicious login behaviour.
Within enterprises, AI helps identify software vulnerabilities, prioritise security patches, and detect malicious code across corporate networks. Public sector agencies rely on similar capabilities to protect digital government platforms and critical infrastructure, while industrial operators use AI to monitor operational technology and connected machinery for abnormal activity.
Egypt’s selection as host reflects its National AI Strategy 2025–2030, which identifies secure digital infrastructure as a key priority as more services move online. Discussions at the event are expected to address both the opportunities and oversight challenges associated with deploying AI in security environments.
