IFZA forges ties with IHC unit to advance AI-driven digital services

International Free Zone Authority (IFZA), the Swiss-based global operating entity of the IFZA network, has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding with Aleria, an affiliate of IHC Group, to accelerate the deployment of AI-driven digital services and intelligence capabilities across its ecosystem.

The agreement was formalised at IHC House during the World Economic Forum in Davos, setting the foundation for joint development of advanced data pipelines, large language and action models, and executive-level intelligence tools aimed at improving governance, operational insight, and stakeholder experience.

Through the collaboration, IFZA plans to embed enterprise-grade AI and data intelligence into its business enablement platforms, supporting faster decision-making, smarter service delivery, and a more digitally enabled operating model while maintaining strict control over data security, compliance, and jurisdictional integrity.

Aleria’s AI operating system is designed to help organisations operationalise advanced analytics, automation, and decision intelligence without relinquishing control over their data infrastructure. The partnership will explore how such capabilities can be applied within Special Economic Zones to create practical, secure, and transparent AI frameworks.

IFZA Chairman Martin G. Pedersen said the collaboration focuses on responsible AI adoption in complex institutional environments, enabling stronger governance and more intelligent digital services. Aleria CEO Eric Leandri described the initiative as a step toward redefining how free zones operate globally through sovereign, enterprise-grade AI.

The partners will also assess opportunities to develop AI-enabled digital service platforms offering a unified access point for approved services and future digital offerings within the IFZA ecosystem.

The move reflects a broader shift toward sovereign AI infrastructures that deliver measurable operational value while adhering to the highest standards of governance, reliability, and data protection.
