Morocco deploys ‘TelmidTICE’ platform to ensure distance learning during school closures

Morocco’s Ministry of Education has activated the TelmidTICE digital learning platform to maintain educational continuity for students affected by school closures due to severe weather alerts.

The move applies to schools and “pioneering institutions” in regions forecast to experience heavy rainfall, following recommendations from monitoring units prioritising the safety of students and staff.

TelmidTICE provides students with curated educational video lessons validated by inspectors and subject specialists. The platform uses an intelligent indexing system that allows learners to follow lessons in line with their weekly and chronological curriculum progression, while remaining accessible across multiple digital devices.

Teachers can access the platform through their taalim.ma professional accounts, while students log in using their Massar code.
