TASC Group has appointed Jayajyoti Sengupta as its new Chief Executive Officer, marking a strategic leadership transition as the company accelerates its focus on AI-led business solutions and managed services across the Middle East and North Africa. Founder Mahesh Shahdadpuri will move into the role of Executive Chairman as part of the leadership evolution.
The appointment comes amid rapid changes in the outsourcing and managed services sector, where enterprises are increasingly shifting from traditional cost-based outsourcing models toward AI-enabled, outcome-driven partnerships focused on efficiency, resilience, and measurable business impact.
TASC said organisations across industries including government, banking and financial services, aviation, defense, manufacturing, healthcare, technology, and services are accelerating AI adoption in line with regional digital transformation agendas. This shift is driving demand for scalable and intelligent managed services capable of supporting evolving operational needs.
The leadership transition supports TASC Group’s next phase of growth, with plans to expand its footprint as a Managed Services Provider through both TASC and AIQU. The company aims to strengthen governance, scale service delivery capabilities, and deepen client engagement as enterprises modernise operating models through automation and AI integration.
Shahdadpuri welcomed Sengupta’s appointment, highlighting his experience in building AI-enabled partnerships and transforming managed services into value-driven engagements. Sengupta noted that the evolving enterprise landscape presents opportunities to reimagine managed services through AI and automation, reinforcing the company’s ambition to help organisations accelerate digital and operational transformation across the region.
