NTT Data buys AWS partner Zero&One to boost Mideast cloud growth

DUBAI, Mon, 09 Feb 2026 — NTT Data has acquired Zero&One, an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Premier Tier Services Partner based in Dubai, strengthening its cloud and AI capabilities as it expands its presence across the Middle East and Africa.

Founded in 2017, Zero&One has established itself as a leading regional cloud consultancy, holding nine AWS competencies and becoming one of the first companies in the region to achieve the AWS Generative AI Competency. The company was also recognised in 2025 as AWS MENA Consulting Partner of the Year, alongside multiple EMEA-level partner awards.

The acquisition aligns with NTT Data’s strategy to capitalise on accelerating cloud adoption in the Middle East, where demand for cloud migration, application modernisation, cloud-native development, data analytics, and AI solutions continues to grow. Saudi Arabia’s cloud services market alone was valued at $4.77 billion last year and is projected to more than double by the early 2030s, supported by infrastructure investments such as AWS’s planned Saudi Arabia region launch in 2026.

NTT Data said the move enhances its ability to deliver scalable, high-impact cloud solutions by combining Zero&One’s regional expertise with its global delivery capabilities. Zero&One CEO Ali El Kontar described the acquisition as a natural next step in the company’s growth, enabling broader service offerings and expanded client support across the region.
