RIYADH, Tue, 10 Feb 2026 — Saudi Arabia is set to strengthen its position as a global centre for advanced manufacturing and industrial innovation as the World Advanced Manufacturing & Logistics (WAM) Saudi Summit & Expo 2026 prepares to convene global industry leaders, innovators, and investors in Riyadh.
The event, organised under the patronage of Bandar bin Ibrahim Al Khorayef, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources, and held in strategic partnership with the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (Modon), will take place from February 15 to 17 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Centre. The summit is expected to play a key role in supporting the Kingdom’s ongoing industrial expansion aligned with its broader economic transformation agenda.
Participants from more than 20 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Japan, Russia, Singapore, Canada, UAE, Portugal, Malaysia, and Egypt, will gather to explore developments in smart manufacturing, artificial intelligence, logistics innovation, advanced materials, and next-generation mobility.
The exhibition will feature leading global technology companies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), CNTXT, TDK Densei, Tatawwar, and INFOR, alongside high-growth startups presenting solutions directly to international investors. Strategic partners include the Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade of Ontario, Trade Flow Africa, and Business Finland.
Mahmoud Bin Khattar Alshanqiti, Director of Marketing & Communications at Modon, highlighted the summit’s role in bringing together regional and international expertise to examine the technologies driving Saudi Arabia’s industrial transformation, particularly in AI-enabled manufacturing and smart logistics infrastructure.
Trixie LohMirmand, CEO of KAOUN International, described WAM Saudi as a milestone event aimed at advancing industrial collaboration and global business engagement across the MENA region. KAOUN International, a subsidiary of Dubai World Trade Centre, organises major industry events across multiple sectors, including the Saudi Food Show and Saudi Food Manufacturing Show.
Andreas Jahn, Member of the Executive Board and Head of Government Affairs and Foreign Trade at Germany’s BVMW, noted that Saudi Arabia is progressing toward becoming a regional industrial powerhouse, highlighting opportunities for knowledge exchange and collaboration between German SMEs and Saudi industry.
The summit will feature more than 100 speakers, with international participants accounting for half of the programme, delivering over 50 hours of discussions focused on industrial policy, energy transition, AI adoption, and manufacturing leadership. First-time speakers in Saudi Arabia include global policymakers and industry experts such as Victor Gao, Chairman of the China Energy Security Institute; Dr Sami Ben Jamaa of JERA Co. Inc.; Rt. Hon. Michelle Donelan, former UK Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology; Chris Courtney, CEO of the National Manufacturing Institute Scotland; and Eman Martin-Vignerte, Director of External Affairs and Government Relations at Bosch UK.
The event will also highlight cross-border collaboration through international startup pavilions from Singapore and India, showcasing emerging manufacturing technologies. In addition, the expo will host the Middle East’s first Supernova manufacturing startup competition, where 50 startups will present innovations across robotics, intelligent supply chains, and AI-driven industrial solutions.
