KARACHI — Pakistan’s mobile network landscape continues to show strong competition, with Opensignal’s February 2026 Mobile Network Experience Report highlighting varied strengths across operators rather than a single overall leader. The report covers user experience data collected between October 1 and December 29, 2025.
Jazz and Zong emerge as joint leaders in Video Experience, both scoring above 46 out of 100, while Ufone follows at 42.6 and Telenor trails significantly at 34.9. In Games Experience, Ufone takes the lead with a score of 47.9, although overall gaming performance across networks remains below the 50-point mark, indicating room for improvement in latency-sensitive applications.
Zong leads in speed performance, recording the highest download speed at 18.2 Mbps and upload speed at 7.1 Mbps, closely followed by Jazz. Ufone delivers moderate performance, while Telenor ranks last in both categories, reflecting ongoing challenges as the market adjusts following PTCL’s acquisition of Telenor Pakistan.
Jazz maintains the strongest coverage position, scoring highest in Coverage Experience and leading in 4G availability at 94.2%. Meanwhile, Zong stands out in reliability metrics, keeping users connected 96.5% of the time and achieving the highest Reliability Experience score among operators. Ufone narrowly leads in Consistent Quality, slightly ahead of Zong and Jazz.
The report concludes that network preference depends largely on user priorities: Zong for speed and reliability, Jazz for coverage and 4G availability, and Ufone for gaming performance. Telenor continues to lag across most performance indicators as Pakistan’s telecom sector undergoes consolidation and adapts to rising data consumption and evolving user expectations.
