stc pay Bahrain has been awarded the “Most Strategic Digital Payment Partnership” at the International Finance Awards 2025, recognizing its collaboration with Mastercard and its contribution to advancing digital payments and financial inclusion in the Kingdom.
The award highlights stc pay’s role in supporting Bahrain’s transition toward a cashless economy while aligning with the country’s Economic Vision 2030. As Bahrain’s all-inclusive mobile wallet licensed by the Central Bank of Bahrain, stc pay provides a range of digital financial services including local and international transfers, prepaid cards, bill payments, and rewards-based offerings.
The partnership with Mastercard has introduced enhanced payment solutions designed to improve customer experience. These include the stc Pay Mastercard Elite card, a globally accepted prepaid card offering premium benefits such as airport lounge access, cashback rewards, and travel-related incentives. The collaboration also introduced stc Pay Mastercard Family cards, allowing multiple supplementary cardholders to access similar benefits, increasing convenience for households.
