Ankabut, the UAE’s education cloud and network service provider, has signed a memorandum of understanding with Dell Technologies to support technological innovation across the country’s education sector. The collaboration aims to strengthen digital learning environments by enabling academic institutions to access advanced computing capabilities for research and education.
Under the agreement, Ankabut will leverage Dell’s GPU-as-a-service capabilities to provide accelerated computing resources for data-intensive research and advanced learning applications. Dell Technologies will also supply high-performance computing systems, client devices, and workstations, helping institutions build secure, scalable, and efficient digital infrastructure.
Operating from its data centre at Khalifa University, Ankabut delivers networking, cloud, virtualization, security, and managed services to educational institutions across the UAE. The partnership is expected to expand Ankabut’s role as a cloud solution provider, allowing universities and research centres to access high-performance computing resources that support innovation, advanced analytics, and next-generation academic programmes.
The initiative aligns with the UAE’s broader strategy of advancing technology-driven education and strengthening its knowledge-based economy. By combining Dell’s infrastructure expertise with Ankabut’s education-focused network and cloud services, the collaboration aims to enhance teaching outcomes, expand research capabilities, and foster a more connected academic ecosystem.
Industry stakeholders note that access to scalable computing infrastructure is becoming increasingly important as educational institutions adopt artificial intelligence, data science, and simulation-driven learning models. The partnership is expected to help UAE institutions accelerate digital transformation while supporting innovation across the education sector.
