Dell and Ooredoo Partner to Deliver AI-as-a-Service via Sovereign Cloud in Qatar

Doha – February 18, 2026: Dell Technologies and Ooredoo have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on delivering and powering modern AI services in Qatar, reinforcing the country’s ambitions to expand secure, enterprise-grade artificial intelligence capabilities.

The agreement was signed by Travers Nicholas, Managing Director, North Gulf at Dell Technologies, and Hassan Ismail Al-Emadi, Chief Business Officer at Ooredoo Qatar.

Under the MoU, the two companies intend to introduce AI-as-a-Service through Ooredoo’s Sovereign AI Cloud. Powered by Dell’s advanced infrastructure and AI technologies, the platform is designed to provide organisations with secure, scalable AI capabilities hosted within a locally governed cloud environment. The initiative aims to enable enterprises to innovate faster, optimise operations, and unlock new data-driven efficiencies across sectors.

By combining Dell’s expertise in high-performance computing, data infrastructure, and AI solutions with Ooredoo’s telecommunications and digital ecosystem, the partnership seeks to deliver enterprise-ready AI services tailored to Qatar’s regulatory and data sovereignty requirements.

Ooredoo highlighted that the collaboration aligns with its strategy to offer future-ready digital experiences and strengthen its role as a key enabler of digital transformation across industries. Dell emphasised its commitment to helping organisations harness the full value of data and artificial intelligence to achieve measurable business outcomes.

The planned AI-as-a-Service offering is expected to support organisations across public and private sectors, equipping them with tools to develop AI-driven applications, enhance analytics capabilities, and accelerate innovation within a secure sovereign cloud framework.
