Nepal Telecom is broadcasting an election-themed Caller Ringback Tone (CRBT) ahead of the HoR election 2082. The CRBT informs callers that voter intimidation, bribery, or inducements are illegal and encourages reporting violations to the Election Commission.
This initiative, limited to NTC-to-NTC calls, aims to raise public awareness about the election code of conduct. Coordinated with the Election Commission of Nepal, it reflects NTC’s ongoing practice of using CRBTs during elections, disasters, and special occasions to communicate key messages and promote civic responsibility.
