ShipBee Secures $500K Seed Funding to Revolutionize GCC Digital Logistics

Qatar-based logistics startup ShipBee has successfully raised $500,000 in a seed funding round led by GrowthX Capital. This investment marks a significant step for the 2024-founded company as it seeks to scale its AI-powered digital logistics marketplace across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the wider MENA region.

ShipBee operates as a unified digital ecosystem that connects businesses and individual consumers with a network of shipping and delivery providers. By integrating with major logistics players like DHL, Qatar Post, and Snoonu, the platform allows users to compare shipping options, book deliveries, and track shipments in real-time through a single interface. The new capital will be directed toward advancing the company’s “AI-first” technology stack, focusing specifically on automated route planning and predictive forecasting to eliminate traditional shipping inefficiencies.

The startup, registered in the Qatar Free Zones, has a clear expansion roadmap targeting the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt. Following an earlier $235,000 pre-seed round, this latest injection of capital positions ShipBee to challenge legacy delivery systems and support Qatar’s ambition to become a regional hub for technological innovation and digital commerce.
