Orange Jordan has launched the fifth edition of the “Inspiring Change” Award, aimed at supporting women entrepreneurs in the ICT sector. The initiative is organized in collaboration with the Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan (int@j) and supported by Capital Bank, under the umbrella of the Women Economic Empowerment Unit – SHETECHS.
Launched on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the award aims to highlight women-led digital innovation and encourage entrepreneurship in Jordan’s technology ecosystem.
This year’s competition will offer JD 3,000 for first place, JD 2,000 for second place, and JD 1,000 for third place. For the first time, an additional JD 2,000 prize will be awarded for the most innovative project focused on sustainable solutions.
Orange Jordan’s Chief Corporate, Internal Communications, and Sustainability Officer Rana Al Dababneh said the award reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to empowering women by providing a platform that showcases entrepreneurial projects and digital innovations.
Capital Bank and SHETECHS also emphasized that the initiative supports women-led startups by connecting them with resources, professional networks, and opportunities that strengthen their competitiveness in the digital economy.
The award is open to founders, co-founders holding at least 50% ownership, or CEOs and managing directors of active startups registered in Jordan. Participating startups must include at least 25% female team members and demonstrate innovation, sustainability, and potential for growth.
Applications for the 2026 “Inspiring Change” Award are open until 31 March.
