Doha, March 26, 2026 — Qatar Academy Msheireb (QAM), part of Qatar Foundation’s Pre-University Education, has introduced new digital initiatives to extend learning beyond the classroom and enhance student engagement through technology-driven platforms.
The school launched two key initiatives: the “Digital Reading World” virtual library and the “Virtual Innovation and Fabrication Lab.” Both platforms are designed to provide flexible, interactive learning environments that support continuous education from home.
The virtual library enables students to access a wide range of books and stories in Arabic and English anytime, promoting independent learning and strengthening reading habits. It aims to ensure consistent engagement with literature while supporting language development and knowledge expansion.
Meanwhile, the Virtual Innovation and Fabrication Lab offers an immersive digital space where students can explore programming, 3D design, and digital creativity. The platform encourages hands-on experimentation using accessible tools and materials, fostering problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
Educators highlighted that these initiatives align with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme, emphasizing inquiry-based learning, innovation, and research skills to prepare students for a rapidly evolving digital world.
By integrating digital platforms into its curriculum, QAM continues to reinforce its commitment to innovation-led education, empowering students to learn independently and develop future-ready skills.
