Dialog Axiata has rapidly expanded its 5G network to over 800 live sites across 24 districts in Sri Lanka, up from just over 220 sites at launch three months ago.
The expansion includes new regions such as Ratnapura, Monaragala, Badulla and Hambantota, marking one of the fastest 5G rollouts in the country. The operator commercially launched its 5G services in December 2025 following spectrum acquisition from the regulator.
Dialog is also promoting adoption through dedicated experience zones showcasing use cases like VR, smart city applications, and AI-powered services.
