Saudia introduces Google’s share item location feature to support baggage recovery

Saudia has introduced Google’s Find Hub share item location feature, enabling passengers to help track and recover lost or delayed baggage more efficiently.

The feature allows travelers to share a secure, time-limited location link from compatible tracker devices directly with the airline when reporting missing baggage. This enhances visibility for ground teams while ensuring users retain full control, with data access expiring automatically after seven days.

The initiative complements Saudia’s existing baggage handling processes and reflects its broader digital transformation strategy focused on improving customer experience, transparency, and trust. The airline is among the first globally to adopt this capability.
