His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met with Eric Anziani, President and Chief Operating Officer of Crypto.com, at Gudaibiya Palace yesterday. The discussion focused on Bahrain’s ongoing efforts to advance the financial services and digital technology sectors, key areas contributing to the kingdom’s comprehensive development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad.
HRH Prince Salman emphasized the importance of digital transformation in driving progress across critical economic sectors, aligning with Bahrain’s long-term aspirations. He reaffirmed the kingdom’s commitment to attracting international companies, strengthening Bahrain’s regional and international position, and expanding growth in various industries.
The Crown Prince also highlighted Bahrain’s dedication to fostering an environment that encourages investment in financial technologies. During the meeting, HRH Prince Salman received a new Mastercard prototype from Crypto.com, the first of its kind in the Middle East, which will be issued by the company.
Mr. Anziani expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with HRH Prince Salman and extended his best wishes for Bahrain’s continued progress and prosperity.
Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and Central Bank of Bahrain Governor Khalid Humaidan were also present at the meeting.
