Orange Business has inked a pivotal agreement with Egypt’s EdgeConn, a leading Cloud-Computing and Managed Services Provider, to facilitate direct private connectivity to Amazon Web Services (AWS) through AWS Direct Connect. This collaboration will support the deployment of AWS Outposts in Egypt, enhancing the digital delivery of educational content for over 22 million students and teachers in the K-12 segment under the Egypt Ministry of Education.
Orange Business rapidly implemented initial connectivity services for EdgeConn, utilizing its Evolution Platform to integrate connectivity, cloud, and cybersecurity services. This strategic partnership not only strengthens Orange Business’s commitment to digital transformation in Egypt’s education sector but also sets a template for future projects across the region.
