Ericsson has launched its Gen-E Graduate Program in Oman, a strategic initiative designed to equip young Omani talent with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the rapidly evolving technology sector. This program supports Oman’s Vision 2040 by enhancing the local workforce and promoting employment opportunities for Omani nationals.
The Gen-E Graduate Program offers an extensive learning experience, combining on-the-job training, project-based assignments, and online learning in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) and advanced telecommunications technologies. Graduates will gain hands-on experience in critical areas like 5G, Artificial Intelligence, and the Internet of Things (IoT), and have the chance to contribute to both local and international projects, furthering their technical expertise and practical skills within a global organization.
Graduates will be offered various roles at Ericsson, where they can work on diverse projects and deepen their technical knowledge within a large, international company.
Abdullah Al Balushi, Country General Manager of Ericsson Oman, emphasized the company’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of technology leaders in Oman. “Through the Gen-E Graduate Program, we aim to empower young Omani talent with real-world learning opportunities, preparing them to contribute to Oman’s digital future,” he said. “By equipping graduates with expertise in advanced technologies like 5G, AI, and IoT, we are aligning with Oman’s Vision 2040 goals and meeting the needs of the global market.”
