At LEAP 2025, HP announced a series of strategic investments to boost Saudi Arabia’s technology sector, aligning with the country’s Vision 2030. These initiatives include the establishment of a manufacturing facility in Riyadh and an AI and R&D Centre of Excellence in Dhahran, aimed at supporting regional businesses with innovative solutions.

HP’s new manufacturing facility in Riyadh will produce locally-made products, enhancing consumer experience and fostering job creation. The “Made in Saudi” initiative will play a vital role in meeting the demands of Saudi Arabia’s rapidly evolving digital economy while promoting local talent and economic transformation.

Additionally, HP is launching the AI and R&D Centre of Excellence to advance research and development in AI solutions. The center will focus on enhancing business operations, improving efficiency, and enabling data-driven decisions. It will attract top global talent, provide training programs, and collaborate with international AI centers to create groundbreaking technologies for industries like healthcare, smart cities, and mobility.

HP has also introduced various education programs to empower Saudi youth, including the HP Cambridge EdTech Fellowship and HP IDEA, which aim to upskill young people for future jobs. These initiatives are projected to impact millions of students and teachers in Saudi Arabia by 2027. HP is also supporting the National Gaming and Esports Strategy with the opening of the HP Gaming Garage Lab at Saudi Electronic University.

Through these investments, HP is strengthening Saudi Arabia’s digital infrastructure, fostering a culture of innovation, and contributing to the kingdom’s long-term economic and technological growth under Vision 2030.
