ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, on Tuesday emphasized Pakistan’s favorable investment policies, inviting Etisalat and the global technology group e& to increase their investments in the country’s telecom sector.
During a meeting held in Dubai, Ishaq Dar engaged with Khalifa Al Shamsi, CEO of e& life and e& international. The meeting, which also included Khaled Hegazy, Chief Operations Officer of e& International, as well as officials from both Pakistan and e& International, discussed opportunities for enhanced collaboration and investment in Pakistan’s growing telecom sector.
The meeting highlighted Pakistan’s efforts to further strengthen its telecom infrastructure and create a conducive environment for increased foreign investment, especially from major international telecom players like Etisalat and e&.
