Juniper Networks has partnered with Saudi Telecom Company (stc) to support the expansion of its 5G services across 75 cities in Saudi Arabia. By deploying Juniper’s 400G routers in its Converged Supercore network and data centers, stc has significantly increased its network capacity while achieving a 43% reduction in power consumption.
This upgrade is part of stc’s broader digital transformation agenda aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. Juniper’s PTX10008 Packet Transport Routers have led to a 1,340% increase in 100G capacity, while the MX10008 routers have modernized stc’s data centers, boosting 400G capacity and minimizing physical space requirements. Juniper’s model-driven automation, leveraging programmable platforms, further streamlines operations, optimizing network efficiency.
This collaboration allows stc to enhance the user experience, reduce carbon emissions, and lower operational costs, all while advancing its digital transformation goals.
