Huawei has partnered with Telecom Egypt to advance technological solutions for the rollout of 5G services in Egypt. As part of this collaboration, Telecom Egypt has become the first operator in Egypt and North Africa to deploy both indoor and outdoor 5G solutions, including BladeAAU with high-bandwidth massive MIMO technology and the DIS 5G Solution with Pico Radio (pRRU) for indoor multiband support.
This partnership aligns with Telecom Egypt’s strategy to become a leading ICT operator through the deployment of advanced 4G/5G networks. Mohamed Nasr Eldin, Telecom Egypt’s CEO, expressed pride in the collaboration with Huawei, which plays a crucial role in localizing Egypt’s ICT industry and driving the country’s digital transformation.
Huawei Egypt CEO, Benjamin Hou, emphasized that this cooperation reaffirms Huawei’s commitment to providing world-leading solutions, preparing Telecom Egypt’s network for 5G and supporting the growth of 4G.
