The partnership aims to address a critical barrier to digital inclusion by enabling mobile users to access and pay for digital content directly through their mobile accounts, bypassing the need for credit cards. The service will be available to 3.5 million subscribers, allowing them to subscribe to premium streaming, gaming, infotainment services, and AI-powered productivity tools. The partnership is particularly beneficial for Beyond ONE’s largely prepaid customer base, in regions where traditional banking relationships remain limited.
This collaboration introduces Direct Carrier Billing (DCB), enabling customers to subscribe and pay for digital content using their existing mobile balance with just two clicks. The platform provides secure and seamless user experiences with AI-powered fraud detection and enhanced consumer protections, such as mandatory double opt-in confirmations and transparent subscription terms.
