Strengthening Bahrain’s Startup Ecosystem through Partnership with Reboot Coding Institute

StartUp Bahrain, the kingdom’s leading platform for startups, supported by the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), has joined forces with Reboot Coding Institute, Bahrain’s largest tech hub and coding program, dedicated to cultivating the next generation of tech talent in the country.

In today’s fast-paced world, where technical expertise is crucial to startup success and growth, this collaboration addresses a critical gap in Bahrain’s entrepreneurial landscape. StartUp Bahrain continues to bolster the startup ecosystem by enhancing community engagement and providing accessible resources, while Reboot Coding Institute delivers intensive, industry-focused coding programs that shape learners into job-ready full-stack developers.

The institute’s hands-on teaching approach has already contributed to increasing the pool of tech talent in the kingdom.

Maryam Malik, Project Manager at StartUp Bahrain, highlighted, “Our partnership with Reboot Coding Institute is a strategic move aimed at strengthening the technical foundation of our startup community. It will help transform innovative ideas into tangible tech solutions and support the expansion of Bahrain’s digital economy.”

This collaboration will open up new opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs and startup teams to acquire essential coding skills through workshops, bootcamps, and technical mentorship programs. The initiative seeks to bridge the technical skills gap within the startup community while nurturing a new generation of tech-savvy founders.

Yanal Jallad, Managing Director of Reboot Coding Institute, emphasized, “Building a thriving startup ecosystem demands a strong base of technical talent. With over 50% of Startup Weekend participants hailing from Reboot and a student body of 400 developers and growing, it is only natural to deepen our partnership with StartUp Bahrain. Together, we are not just teaching coding – we are empowering future founders with the technical skills needed to build and scale innovative solutions while encouraging developers to pursue their entrepreneurial passions and ideas.”
