IGT Solutions Expands Operations with New Office in Cairo, Plans Major Workforce Growth

Egypt’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Dr. Amr Talaat, officially inaugurated the new office of IGT Solutions at Maadi Technology Park in Cairo. The global customer experience (CX) and digital transformation company is expanding its presence in Egypt as part of its strategic growth in the EMEA region.

The event was attended by IGT Solutions’ Global CEO Katie Stein, ITIDA CEO Eng. Ahmed El-Zaher, IGT Egypt Managing Director Mohamed Guemei, and senior officials from the Ministry of Communications and ITIDA.

IGT Solutions first entered the Egyptian market in 2022, establishing a multilingual service center that provides support in over eight languages, including English, Spanish, French, and German. The company plans to grow its workforce in Egypt from 450 to 2,000 professionals by 2027.

“Egypt’s outsourcing industry has seen impressive growth, with the number of global delivery centers tripling in the past three years,” said Dr. Amr Talaat. He emphasized the Ministry’s strategy to expand the talent pool, enhance digital infrastructure, and improve competitiveness in high-value services like software engineering, AI, and semiconductor design.

Eng. Ahmed El-Zaher, CEO of ITIDA, noted that Egypt’s skilled workforce, cost-effectiveness, and modern infrastructure make it an attractive destination for outsourcing investments. He also emphasized ITIDA’s role in supporting companies like IGT Solutions in scaling their regional operations from Egypt, contributing to the growth of the digital economy.

Katie Stein, CEO of IGT Solutions, explained that the new office will help the company deliver next-generation outsourcing solutions powered by generative AI and human-centric innovation. She expressed excitement about deepening IGT’s investment in Egypt, which is seen as a market with significant potential for growth and innovation.

Mohamed Guemei, Managing Director of IGT Solutions Egypt, emphasized that the new facility is a key milestone in the company’s mission to drive innovation, create jobs, and contribute to the digital economy. He also highlighted Egypt’s strong talent pipeline and strategic location, which offer a competitive edge in delivering world-class, tech-driven services.

IGT Solutions supports global clients across various sectors, including travel, banking, fintech, e-commerce, gaming, and the freelance economy. The company is investing heavily in talent development, offering specialized training in areas such as data analytics, AI, and digital operations.

With 31 delivery centers across 13 countries and over 25,000 professionals, IGT Solutions serves clients in more than 35 languages. Katie Stein added that the Cairo office is one of the fastest-growing locations for IGT, and the company has invested several million dollars in the site over the past two years. She noted that the team would grow to 2,000 professionals as part of the ongoing expansion, with an emphasis on blending human and digital solutions to enhance customer experiences.
