The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has set up a dedicated stall at the Overseas Pakistanis Convention 2025, taking place in Islamabad from April 13 to 15, to provide telecom-related services and information to overseas Pakistanis. The stall is designed to offer streamlined guidance on telecom regulations, mobile device registration, and digital services tailored for the Pakistani diaspora.
A key feature of the stall is the free 120-day mobile registration service for expatriates, ensuring smooth connectivity during their stay in Pakistan. Senior PTA officials and experts are on hand to provide interactive displays and personalized assistance to visitors.
Chairman of PTA, Maj. Gen. (R) Hafeez Ur Rehman, highlighted the Authority’s commitment to advancing the Prime Minister’s digital inclusion objectives. He emphasized PTA’s focus on facilitating hassle-free telecom services and fostering a digitally empowered nation for all Pakistanis, both at home and abroad.
