21 NTI Instructors Earn International Certification in Telecom Training, Boosting Egypt-India Collaboration

In a significant step toward enhancing Egypt-India cooperation in telecommunications, 21 instructors from the National Telecommunications Institute (NTI) in Egypt have received global certification after completing the “Train the Trainers” (ToT) program by Tejas Networks, an Indian leader in networking technologies. The program focused on advanced networking and optical fiber services, supporting knowledge transfer and the development of skilled professionals aligned with global standards.

Dr. Ahmed Khattab, Director of NTI, highlighted the importance of this achievement, which reflects successful collaboration with Tejas Networks. He also announced the upcoming launch of the first Tejas Academy in Egypt, located at NTI. This will be the first international academy of its kind in Egypt and will join a network of 12 academies worldwide. The academy will focus on training Egyptian engineers in networking and fiber optics, offering certifications and technical support for the telecom sector. The initiative aims to boost employment opportunities and produce a new generation of skilled professionals.

NTI is a recognized national center of excellence for telecommunications and ICT, playing a crucial role in digital capacity building in Egypt. Meanwhile, Tejas Networks continues to empower engineers globally with advanced technical knowledge through strategic educational partnerships.
