Zain Bahrain, a leading telecom services operator in the kingdom, has joined forces with Manama Hub’s ‘Khibra Initiative’ to host the first-ever “Meet the Leaders” Mentorship Event.
The ‘Khibra Initiative’ is a comprehensive mentorship program designed to support young individuals across various sectors. Its goal is to provide the youth with the necessary guidance and support to excel in their careers.
The speed mentoring event offered participants one-on-one discussions with industry leaders and included a career planning session presented by Zain. As a key partner, Zain Bahrain played a crucial role in organizing this inaugural event, which took place at the Zain Bahrain Tower.
The event’s innovative format allowed mentees to engage with multiple mentors, providing personalized insights from a diverse range of experts. The event featured 30 mentors from 10 industries, including IT, banking, marketing, semi-government, and fintech, with 7 mentors representing Zain.
Fatema Haider, Zain Bahrain’s Senior Manager of Corporate Sustainability, Inclusivity, and Culture, commented, “At Zain Bahrain, we are committed to empowering the next generation of leaders. This collaboration offers innovative opportunities for our employees and young Bahrainis to receive invaluable guidance and support, helping them navigate their careers and achieve their full potential.”
Yara Abdulhameed Shaper from Manama Hub added, “Believing in the transformational power of mentorship, Manama Hub launched Khibra to connect youth with experienced professionals and empower them to advance their careers.
