Huawei and BRACNet Showcase Smart Campus Solutions to Drive Bangladesh’s Digital Education Transformation

Huawei recently hosted the “Campus NextGen: The Future of Digital Education” program in collaboration with BRACNet at Huawei Bangladesh Academy in Dhaka. The event highlighted emerging connectivity trends and technological innovations aimed at accelerating the digital transformation of Bangladesh’s education sector.

Attended by 80 representatives from 30 public and private universities, discussions focused on overcoming challenges such as limited access, complex network layers, maintenance issues, and cybersecurity risks to create more connected and secure smart campuses.

Huawei showcased its advanced 10Gbps Smart Campus Network Solution, featuring fiber-to-the-office and data center storage technologies designed to simplify campus network architectures, ensure high-speed reliable connectivity, enhance data security, and streamline network operations.

Huawei honored BRACNet as a trusted partner in Bangladesh’s digital education journey, with Syed PF Ahmed, CEO of BRACNet, and Mukarram Husain, GM and Head of Operations, receiving the award jointly.

Yuying Karl, Deputy Managing Director at Huawei South Asia Enterprise Business Group, affirmed Huawei’s commitment to empowering universities with scalable, secure digital infrastructures. Syed PF Ahmed highlighted BRACNet’s ongoing vision to connect classrooms with careers through smart campus initiatives supported by Huawei.

Several leading universities, including BRAC University, Southeast University, East West University, and Bangladesh University of Textiles, are already leveraging Huawei’s solutions, reporting significant gains in connectivity, data security, and IT efficiency.
