Kacific Partners with Supernet to Expand Satellite Broadband in Rural Pakistan

Kacific Broadband Satellites Group has signed a strategic reseller agreement with Pakistan-based telecom and data network provider Supernet Limited to deliver satellite broadband solutions across underserved rural areas of the country.

Under the partnership, Supernet will leverage its extensive market presence and technical expertise to promote, distribute, and support Kacific’s satellite broadband products. Together, the companies plan to share satellite knowledge and co-develop strategies targeting key markets and sectors to improve connectivity for communities, businesses, government agencies, ISPs, and telecom operators in remote regions.

This agreement follows Kacific’s earlier market entry via collaboration with Pakistan’s satellite operator Paksat International and national space agency SUPARCO. Kacific and Paksat utilize 11 Ka-band spot beams on the Paksat-MM1 geostationary satellite to deliver high-throughput broadband capacity to over 20,000 sites.

Kacific CEO Christian Patouraux highlighted that partnering with Supernet will accelerate the adoption and distribution of their satellite broadband in rural Pakistan. Zia Tariq, Supernet’s head of defense sales and satcom products, expressed confidence that Kacific’s satellite capabilities will help serve even the most isolated communities effectively.
