Egypt’s commitment to building a “Digital Egypt” was underscored by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli during the official 5G launch event held near the Pyramids in Giza. Emphasizing the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector as a crucial driver of economic development, Madbouli positioned ICT alongside agriculture, industry, and tourism as a core pillar of growth.

Attended by Minister of Communications Amr Talaat, senior officials, and representatives from leading operators including Vodafone Egypt, Orange Egypt, e& Egypt, and Telecom Egypt, the event marked a significant milestone in Egypt’s digital transformation journey.
