At the 2025 AMIC Private Equity Awards held in Casablanca, Morocco’s leading M&A advisory firms were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the country’s private equity landscape. Strategy&, Deloitte, and Accuracy emerged as the top winners, highlighting their pivotal roles in shaping Morocco’s growing financial ecosystem.
Strategy& was named Morocco’s Strategic Advisor of the Year, recognized for its key involvement in the acquisition of Building Logistics Services, where it advised STOA, an impact fund, during its minority stake purchase. Jonathan Le Henry, partner and head of Strategy& Maghreb, expressed pride in the team’s achievement and the award’s acknowledgment of their industry leadership.
Deloitte secured the Transaction Support Advisor of the Year award for the Large Cap segment, reflecting its strong track record in supporting major transactions and accelerating private equity growth in Morocco. Julien Leyrit, Deloitte’s partner and Head of Financial Advisory Morocco, thanked clients and teams for their trust and commitment.
Accuracy won the Transaction Support Advisor of the Year for Mid Cap, with partner Aomar Elalamy highlighting the firm’s blend of financial rigor and strategic insight in structuring significant deals within Morocco’s private equity market.
Other awardees included Asafo & Co (law firm), Mediterrania Capital Partners, and CDG Invest (funds), underscoring a broad ecosystem of excellence.
AMIC, established in 2000, serves as Morocco’s professional private equity association, promoting the sector to investors, entrepreneurs, and government bodies. According to AMIC’s latest report with Grant Thornton, 2024 saw record fund capital raised at 3.887 billion Moroccan dirhams and investments totaling 1.699 billion dirhams, marking sustained growth and an average holding period of 6.2 years for private equity funds.
