Zain has officially launched its next-generation 5G Advanced network, achieving nationwide coverage across most of Kuwait. This rollout represents a significant advancement in the country’s digital infrastructure, delivering ultra-fast internet speeds designed to support smart city initiatives, Internet of Things (IoT) applications, and the evolving digital lifestyle across multiple sectors.
Built to meet the highest global standards, Zain’s 5G Advanced network addresses growing data service demands and lays the foundation for future adoption of 6G technologies. He highlighted that the deployment accelerates digital transformation, enhances smart services, and redefines connectivity experiences nationwide.
Nawaf Al-Gharabally, CEO of Zain Kuwait, described the launch as a new chapter in Kuwait’s digital journey, reflecting years of infrastructure investment, technical preparation, and successful nationwide testing. The network team ensured seamless coverage from day one, reaffirming Zain’s commitment to national digital development since 1983.
