Vodafone Qatar’s e-wallet application, iPay, now provides consumers in Qatar with an instant USD 2.75 cashback on every international money transfer. This offer, in partnership with remittance provider Gulf Exchange, supports the Qatar Central Bank’s vision of achieving a cashless economy by 2030 by encouraging digital remittances.
iPay is operator agnostic and available to all Qatar residents regardless of their telecom provider. The app enables secure, fast transactions including local and international transfers, instant merchant payments, and select utility bill payments. Registration takes less than 60 seconds via Apple and Google Play stores.
In collaboration with Commercial Bank of Qatar, Gulf Exchange, and Paytm, iPay offers access to instant local transfers across Qatar’s mobile payment network alongside international remittances.
The cashback promotion runs from March 2 to April 19, 2023, encouraging users to send money internationally using iPay.
