Orange Jordan, in partnership with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ), has launched “Finance Forward: Empowering Entrepreneurs Through Financial Literacy.” This initiative is part of the “Innovative Approaches to Financial Inclusion for MSMEs” project in Jordan, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The program aims to equip entrepreneurs, startups, and SMEs with vital financial knowledge to manage resources effectively and make informed decisions.
Targeting five key governorates—Amman, Zarqa, Irbid, Karak, and Aqaba—the program offers specialized training sessions focused on financial management, business development, and strategic financial decision-making. It primarily supports early-stage entrepreneurs, youth launching ventures, SMEs, and local business communities across Jordan.
Orange Jordan reaffirmed its commitment to fostering innovation and building a knowledge-based economy by empowering entrepreneurs with practical financial skills to drive sustainable growth. Ulrich Haas, Project Manager of Innovative Approaches to Financial Inclusion, emphasized that financial literacy is essential for sustainable economic development and job creation in Jordan.
This program complements Orange Jordan’s ongoing efforts through startup incubators and accelerators to support entrepreneurship and economic growth in the Kingdom.
