Comcast Technology Solutions (CTS) has been chosen by Dubai Media, the official media organization of the Government of Dubai, as the end-to-end technology provider for its new video streaming platform. The service will host Dubai Media’s suite of channels, including Dubai TV and Dubai Sports, and is expected to launch later in 2025.
The new platform, powered by CTS’ Cloud Video Platform under the Comcast Media360 umbrella, will manage the full content lifecycle—from acquisition and transformation to OTT streaming, monetization, and user experience. This marks a significant step in Dubai Media’s mission to modernize its digital media ecosystem and reinforce Dubai’s role as a regional media leader.
Saleh Lootah, senior vice president of engineering and operations at Dubai Media, emphasized that the partnership will give the organization “unprecedented flexibility and insights” to continue setting standards for innovation and excellence in Middle Eastern media. CTS executives echoed the sentiment, highlighting that the collaboration is a strong endorsement of Comcast’s strategy to deliver end-to-end video solutions globally.
The CTS platform enables broadcasters to streamline content ingestion, management, playout, and delivery across direct-to-consumer apps, MVPDs, vMVPDs, FAST aggregators, and social platforms. CTS will showcase Comcast Media360 at the IBC2025 event in Amsterdam this September, where its executives will present solutions for broadcasters, sports, and content providers.
