G42 Advances UAE’s Global AI Leadership with Breakthrough Innovations Across Sectors

ABU DHABI – The United Arab Emirates is strengthening its position as a global leader in artificial intelligence (AI), supported by the efforts of the G42 Group and its subsidiaries, which delivered a wide range of smart and innovative solutions in the first half of 2025. These achievements reflect the UAE’s strategy of building digital sovereignty, ensuring data security, and embedding AI across vital sectors of the economy.

AI-Powered Cybersecurity

Hadi Anwar, CEO of CBX, highlighted the integration of AI into cybersecurity through the company’s “Intelligence Network”, which focuses on prevention, detection, and response. CBX launched automated threat detection and sovereign data protection services to support governments and major institutions, enhancing trust in digital services and national security.

Sector-Specific AI Models

Ashish Koshy, CEO of Inception, emphasized the development of Agentic AI, with specialized models such as (In)Energy and (In)Climate. Inception also introduced enterprise-level tools like (In)ExecEdge, designed to support executives with intelligent meeting analysis, and (In)Business Procurement, which improves operational efficiency by 40% and reduces costs by 10%.

Sovereign AI Infrastructure

Kiril Evtimov, CEO of Core42, confirmed strategic expansions in Europe through collaborations with AMD, Oréus, and iGenius, supporting sovereign AI infrastructure. He noted the launch of a sovereign cloud—built with Microsoft and the Government Empowerment Department—that now manages 11 million daily interactions and is paving the way for the first fully AI-powered government by 2027.

AI in Energy

Magzhan Kenesbai, Acting MD of AIQ, detailed the success of ENERGYai, which during a 90-day trial increased seismic interpretation speed tenfold and improved accuracy by 70%. This led ADNOC to award AIQ a three-year AED 340 million contract to deploy ENERGYai across its upstream operations.

Cultural and Consumer Innovation

Analog partnered with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi to launch a 10,000-drone immersive light show initiative, positioning Abu Dhabi as home to the world’s largest dynamic drone fleet for cultural performances. Meanwhile, Astra Tech leveraged its Botim Ultra platform, with over 150 million users, to enable secure digital donations, reinforcing inclusivity and social impact.
