The National Broadcasting and Television Company (SNRT) has launched Morocco’s first artificial intelligence-driven news section on its digital platform, SNRTnews. Announced on September 23, 2025, by CEO Faisal Al-Arashi, the initiative marks a major step in SNRT’s digital transformation strategy to merge traditional broadcasting with next-generation media.
The new section leverages AI technologies for content production, editing, and categorization, providing 24-hour coverage of AI-related news. Using tools capable of analyzing data from multiple sources and verifying information rapidly, the platform generates articles and reports written by AI, supported by human editors to ensure credibility.
SNRTnews also dedicates space to ethical debates around AI, including its societal and labor market impacts. By combining instant alerts, expert insights, and tailored reports, the platform enhances audience engagement while reshaping how news is delivered and consumed.
With this launch, SNRT underscores its view of AI as a collaborative partner in media production, aiming to deliver faster, more accurate, and interactive news experiences for Moroccan audiences in the digital era.
