Arcapita and Parkway Back Figure AI in Landmark $1B Series C Round, Valuing Firm at $39B

Arcapita Group Holdings, the Bahrain-based global alternative investment firm, and Parkway Venture Capital of the US announced that their AI portfolio company Figure AI has raised over $1 billion in capital commitments during its Series C financing round, reaching a valuation of $39 billion.

The round was led by Parkway Venture Capital and included a major strategic investment from Brookfield Asset Management, alongside participation from top-tier technology investors such as NVIDIA, Salesforce, LG Technology Ventures, Intel Capital, T-Mobile Ventures, and Macquarie Capital.

Arcapita and Parkway have been early backers of Figure AI since its Series A and B rounds, reaffirming their conviction in the company’s vision. Their involvement highlights the role of regional investors in advancing global frontier technologies. Their portfolio also includes xAI, OXOS Medical, and SandboxAQ, spanning generative AI, medical imaging, and quantum computing.

Headquartered in California, Figure AI is developing autonomous general-purpose humanoid robots to perform tasks in commercial and industrial environments. By combining advanced artificial intelligence with robotics engineering, the company aims to address labour shortages, improve workplace safety, and unlock new levels of automation.

As a strategic partner, Brookfield Asset Management will leverage its extensive portfolio — including over 100,000 residential units — to pilot deployments of humanoid robots, help create the world’s largest humanoid pretraining dataset, and collaborate on developing next-generation data centres and AI infrastructure.

This landmark financing positions Figure AI as one of the most valuable robotics startups globally, while reinforcing Bahrain’s Arcapita as a key player in bridging regional capital with breakthrough global innovation.
